When you write in, it helps enormously if you include your device model, your iOS or Android version, and what you were doing when it happened.

How to play

You are a prisoner with a torch. Each cell block opens with the lights on for a few seconds — memorise the layout. Then the lights go out, and you navigate in the dark to the glowing exit before the wardens catch you.

Controls

• D-pad — moves you one block at a time. Hold a direction to keep going. The buttons sit at the angle each direction actually travels on screen, so press the arrow pointing where you want to go.
• Sprint — carries you up to five blocks in the direction you are already facing, stopping at the first wall. Three charges per level. A sprint that is blocked immediately costs you nothing — but the blocks you do cover count as steps.
• Minimap — top right. Shows the whole cell block, the exit, and every warden and dog, through walls, lit or not.
• Pause — below the minimap. Resume, jump to another cell block, quit to the menu, or toggle music.

Rules

• Only your tile, your torch beam, the exit and the wardens' tiles are lit once the lights go out.
• Wardens step toward you along the shortest open path. Later blocks add more of them, and dogs — faster than wardens.
• Light switches appear in later blocks. Step on one to flash the whole block back on briefly. Each is one use only.
• Share a tile with a warden and the run ends.
• Beat the par step count for three stars.

Common questions

I paid to remove ads and they came back.
Tap Restore Purchases on the title screen. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not your device, so it survives reinstalls and new devices. If that does not fix it, email us — include the Apple ID email used for the purchase and we will sort it out.

I was charged but the ads did not go away.
Same fix — Restore Purchases first. If it persists, email us with your receipt and we will resolve it.

Why does the app ask about tracking?
On iOS, apps must ask before using the advertising identifier to track you across other companies' apps. Declining is completely fine — you still get ads, they are just not personalised, and nothing in the game changes. See our Privacy Policy.

Can I turn off the music?
Yes — pause, then tap MUSIC. Sound effects stay on, because they carry information about where the wardens are.

I lost my progress.
Progress is stored on your device, so deleting the app removes it. Purchases are the exception and can always be restored.

The game is too hard / the memorise window is too short.
The whole block is on the minimap from the first frame, including the exit and every warden — use it. It is deliberately more forgiving than the 3D view.

Accessibility

• The sprint bar is colour-coded, but the number of lit segments carries the same information, so it does not depend on colour vision.
• The minimap uses a deliberately low-contrast palette so corridors read as shapes rather than as noise; the player marker is the highest-contrast element on it.
• Both portrait and landscape are fully supported — rotate to whichever is more comfortable.
